He Tossed a $100 Bill at Me — But He Didn’t Know I Was About to Uncover Everything
I divorced my husband a month ago — his choice, not mine.
We hadn’t spoken since. No calls, no texts, nothing.
Then yesterday, I ran into him completely by accident in the supermarket parking lot… and I swear, I didn’t even recognize him at first.
This man — who used to be a cashier struggling to pay rent — was now stepping out of a luxury sports car, wearing designer clothes, expensive sunglasses, and a watch that probably cost more than my monthly salary. I was stunned.
Trying to be polite, I forced a smile and said,
“Wow, congrats! Looks like you’re doing well!”
He didn’t even look at me.
He just muttered,
“Not your business.”
Then — as if I were trash on the sidewalk — he tossed a hundred-dollar bill out the window and sped off.
My hands were shaking. I wanted to scream. But something felt off… really off.
Where did he suddenly get this money? This lifestyle? This attitude?
I picked up the $100, and as I did, something else caught my eye — a slip of paper lying half-way under his front tire marks.
I almost didn’t pick it up… but thank God I did.
Because what was written on that paper revealed exactly where his money came from — and who it actually belonged to.
And in that moment, everything finally made sense.
